How ADVAGEN Prebio Works

After being consumed, ADVAGEN Prebio moves down the digestive tract and does not get broken down in the small intestines.

1. When it reaches the colon (large intestines), due to its water binding capacity, it draws water in and causes softening of the stools.
2. At the same time in the colon, fermentation of ADVAGEN Prebio occurs and results in the production of Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs), gas and growth of good gut bacteria.
3. The release of SCFAs causes chemical stimulation of the peristaltic reflex and the contractions reduce intestinal transit time resulting in faster movements of bowels.
4. Fermentation of ADVAGEN Prebio also produces gas and growth of good gut bacteria which increase the bowel content and fecal bulk. This in turn helps bowel movement.

Indication: ADVAGEN Prebio can be taken to support relief of constipation ad frowth of good gut bacteria.

Contraindications: Abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract.

Adverse effects: Usually gastrointestinal related (including diarrhea and flatulence) and are mild and transient.

Dosage and administration

• Adults: Take 1-4 sachets of ADVAGEN Prebio daily.
• Children: 6-12 years old; 1/2 to 1 sachet of ADVAGEN Prebio daily. For children below 6 years old, consult your pediatrician.
• Add ADVAGEN Prebio into food or beverage of choice and stir well until dissolves.

Active Ingredient:

Resistant dextrin (soluble prebiotic fiber from corn). Produced in a facility that also processes milk products, soybeans and sesame.

Pack size: 5g powder in a sachet/ box of 30s

Storage: Store in a dry cool place below 30 degrees Celsius. Do not consume if sachet is torn.
